This 45-60-minute experience provides a unique opportunity for participants to temporarily step into the shoes of someone living with dementia and to grow in empathy for them.
Through a live simulation, participants undergo safe sensory alterations to experience the challenges individuals with dementia encounter in daily tasks.
Dementia Journey is an in-person experience. The times listed here are for events at our location West Michigan location (address below). Please contact us at Info@Dementia-Institute.org or 616-235-5499 if you prefer to organize your own event with family, friends, or co-workers, and have us bring the Dementia Journey to you (travel extra).
