Bringing Understanding to the Journey of Dementia

Taking care of a loved one living with dementia is a journey—we’re here to help you navigate the ups and downs.

For the unknowns and unpredictable.

With dementia, each day can bring something different. It can be hard to know what’s normal or if you’re making the right decisions. There is no guidebook to follow, but small changes in your approach can make a big difference in your relationship. When a loved one is living with dementia, you are too. We’re here to help you better understand dementia, its symptoms, and how it could progress. These important insights will help prepare you to best take care of your loved one as different challenges arise.

Christian Worship

Did you know that the rhythm and rhyme of song, verse, and liturgy are typically retained late into the progression of dementia, even after normal conversations slow down or stop? That makes spiritual care a fantastic way to serve someone with dementia. We specifically designed the Evening Star™ worship handbook to assist Christian clergy, family, and friends as they help loved ones with dementia maintain and grow their relationship with God.

Your well-being matters.

When you are well, you're in a better position to care for your loved one. What do they say on the airplane... put on your own oxygen mask first, right? Caregiving can be really hard, and a lot of people like you get burned out before they seek support... but that's not healthy for anyone. Contact us today to start experiencing decreased stress and increased joy.
